Wakako Shibata
Wakako has worked in the flower industry for over ten years. Having a degree in landscape design, she brings a special artistic vision to Floris Hiroko. Wakako enjoys being out in nature. Much of her inspiration comes while biking or strolling through the green parks of Tokyo. Wakako loves the unique color and texture of each kind of flower, but names Japanese sakura as her favorite. She hopes to convey her creative energy to customers through each and every arrangement she makes.
Shigetada Suzuki
Shige, Hiroko's son, has been surrounded by beautiful flowers for as long as he can remember. After studying international relations and fine art at Boston University, he returned to Japan combining his love for nature, art, and meeting new people through his work at Floris Hiroko. Shige's greatly inspired by his world travels. He calls himself a humble observer of flower design from all over the globe. Favorite influences include the vivid, tropical colors of Bali, the pastels and subtlety of European arrangements, the originality and freedom in American pieces, and the spatial minimalism of Japanese ikebana. Shige loves to bring bits of Mother Nature to his customers while providing a positive service experience.
